About the Property

How many people can stay at Chestnut Oak Lodge?

Up to 45 guests across 12 bedrooms with 24 beds total.

How big is the cabin?

7,400 square feet across three levels (main, upper, and lower).

Does every bedroom have its own bathroom?

Yes! All 12 bedrooms have private en-suite bathrooms. We also have 2 additional half-baths in common areas for a total of 14 bathrooms.

What bed configurations are available?

  • Main Level: 2 king bedrooms (1 with sofa bed)
  • Upper Level: 6 bedrooms including 2 large bunk rooms (sleep 8 and 12), plus 4 king bedrooms
  • Lower Level: 4 king bedrooms (3 with sofa beds)

All bedrooms have Smart TVs with DIRECTV and streaming apps.

Is the property wheelchair accessible?

We have 2 bedrooms on the main level with no stairs required, which helps guests with limited mobility. However, the cabin is not fully wheelchair accessible.

Yes! Every bedroom, living area, and the theater has a Smart TV with DIRECTV (CHOICE package with 105+ channels) and streaming apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and Hulu. Simply use your own login.

Is the driveway steep?

Yes, there is a somewhat steep climb to the cabin. We recommend a 4x4 vehicle during rain or snow season for easier access and safety. However, the parking area itself is flat and paved.

What's the exact address?

The full address is provided after booking for security reasons. The cabin is located in the Hibernation Station community in Sevierville, TN.

Is the cabin easy to find?

Yes! GPS-friendly address with clear directions provided in your check-in email.

Are pets allowed?

No, we maintain a pet-free environment to accommodate guests with allergies. Strict fines apply for unauthorized pets.

Can we smoke inside?

No. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabin. There is a $500 fine for violations. Smoking is permitted outside only.

Can we host events or parties?

No, events and parties are strictly prohibited. Violation may result in a $10,000 fine and immediate eviction without refund.

Is there an age requirement?

Yes, the primary guest must be 25+ years old and must be present during the entire stay.

What are the quiet hours?

10:00 PM to 8:00 AM EST. Please respect neighbors and keep outdoor noise to a minimum during these hours.

Can we have visitors?

Day visitors are welcome and do not count toward occupancy. Overnight guests must be included in your reservation and count toward the 45-person maximum.

What's the maximum occupancy?

45 guests maximum. This includes all overnight guests.

What if we notice a cleaning issue?

Please contact us within the first 2 hours of check-in so we can address it immediately while you're out exploring.

Yes, excellent service with all major carriers throughout the property.

Can we use the outdoor grills?

Yes! There are 3 park-style charcoal grills available. Please bring your own charcoal as it is not provided.

Where do we put trash?

Trash cans are located on each level inside the cabin. When you leave, take all trash to the outdoor wildlife-proof bins (located just outside the cabin).

What if we need more towels or supplies?
